Save the Stickies
Sticky notes are destroying our planet .

It's time to wake up and smell the glue. The climate is changing. Landfills are overflowing with single-use sticky notes! If we don't change something soon, then the streets will be too!

Colored paper and chemical adhesives mean sticky notes can't be recycled.

Don't just take our word for it! We're 95% sure that this claim is backed by science. We have four links to prove it: 1 2 3 4

Stop collaborating with carbon!

Stickies may not have feet, but they still have a footprint 🐾 .

Every sticky note you’ve ever used was made of paper that came from a tree. A tree that could have been taking carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere! Do you have any idea how rare neon pink trees are?

We guesstimate that each year there are roughly ~4 million imperial metric tons of carbon emitted by people travelling to in-person sticky note sessions.

That's more carbon than it would take to run one of those tall wavy balloon people you find outside car dealerships for 300,000 years.

But there's still hope!
Hush-hush, now. We're going to let you in on the secrets that the manufacturing giants in "Big Sticky" don't want you to know...
  • Digital stickies can be reused and recycled ♻️
  • No one has to travel to use digital stickies 🏡
  • You can change them even after you stick them down 🤯
Sticky Studio is sustainable !

When you delete a sticky in Sticky Studio, we don't just throw it into the bin. 🗑️

Our servers carefully scrub off the text, and the sticky goes back into the box for the next person.

We even reduced our virtual paper impact by offering only four sticky colors—a decision that all of our users love and understand! 😘

We're going to donate all of our revenue during April 2023 (or $10k, whichever is more) to a climate focused change making effort. 🌳

If that's not a reason to get unstuck together, then we don't know what is!

Save the planet , save the stickies .

It's easy to feel overwhelmed when faced with life-changing revelations like these. You're probably wondering what you can do. We've taken the liberty of preparing a list of steps you can take.
